A son of La Digue Island, whose parents ran the bakery at La Passe, since the 1970s , George chose to pursue an Artistic Career since 1987 on his return from his studies in London. \n\nIn 1997, he restored an old wooden colonial house, KAZ ZANANA , which he opened as his first Art Gallery in Seych elles.\n\nIn 2001, he opened his second Gallery at Anse Gaulette on the island of La Digue. The gallery is situated on the ground floor of Villa Verte and it showcases a permanent collection of original contemporary   work as well  as limited edition etchings and Giclee prints.\n\nOver the last 36 years, etchings have become the medium for his more detailed and figurative work. Etching mainly on copper plates and using acid bite techniques, he produces limited edition monochrome prints as well as hand painted etchings that strive to capture the spirit of Seychellois life.
